Reema Sen gatecrashed Kollywood with the superhit 'Minnale' in 2001. There has, ever since, been no looking back for the cool Kolkatan. Reema has worked in a handful of Hindi flicks as well, the last of them being 'Chal Chala Chal'.
Somewhere along the way, Reema got typecast as the glam-doll. Reema then changed her image with a meaty role in 'Aayirathil Oruvan', directed by Selvaraghavan.
Here are a few snaps of the hottie, who turns 29, today.
Reema started out in the showbiz as a model; she has appeared in a number of ad campaigns.
'Minnale', also starring Madhavan, was her ticket to stardom.
Reema made her debut in Bollywood with 'Hum Ho Gaye Aap Ke' (2002), opposite Fardeen Khan.
She was then paired opposite Vijay in 'Bagavathy'. The film was a superhit, and its Telugu version did very well at the B.O. too.
Reema played a glamorous model in 'Dhool', co-starring Vikram and Jyothika.
Her second foray into Hindi, 'Jaal: The Trap', starring Tabu and Sunny Deol, also flopped at the B.O.
Reema played the female lead in 'Veede', starring Ravi Teja.
She played an important role in 'Enakku 20 Unakku 18', a blockbuster by Jyothi Krishna. Her co-stars in the film were Arun, Trisha, Shreya and Vivek.
Reema Sen then did an item number for 'Aan: Men at Work'. Her next Hindi film, 'Malalmal Weekly' (2006), directed by Priyadarshan, was a superhit.
Reema, along with her 'Minnale' co-star Madhavan, bagged another superhit with 'Rendu'.
She played the female lead in Selvaraghavan's 'Aayirathil Oruvan', which was an average grosser at the B.O.
