Robot (Endhiran) in 3D English

Thanks to Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai mania and some supersonic storyline, the trilingual film ‘Robot’ or Endhiran has harvested some unimaginable amount of dividend at the cash windows. Now only has it seen eyebrow raising success in the South but even in Northern India, the film has hoisted its flag of triumph.

So enormous has been the success that Tamil channel Sun TV (whose boss Kalanithi Maran has invested a huge sum in the flick) is contemplating an international release in 3D English. Sun TV CEO Hansraj Saxena says, “Considering how well it has been received in the North, we are looking at an English version for the international market. Seven minutes of footage is already in 3D, and will be added to the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions later.”

However, at the moment they are keener to take the film to the various film festivals all over the planet. Made with a mammoth budget of 160 crore, the most expensive Asian film ever does deserve to be showcased before the entire world to a wider range of audience. And it would certainly be the viewers’ delight if Robot does an ‘Avatar’ and is unleashed in English 3D. What do you say?
