Vetrimaran's new project

Vetrimaran of Polladhavan and yet-to-be-released Aadukalam  fame has put his Vada Chennai  which he was planning to start with Karthi on the backburner.

Now the latest we hear is that Vetri is planning to make a film with a different script and new artists.

Dhayanidhi Alagiri and his Cloud Nine, the producers in a press note have said: "We are glad to announce that director Vetrimaran's next project is with us. Initially it was supposed to be Vada Chennai  with some reputed artist and another new script that he was working on. Due to the non availability of the stars, he wanted to narrate a script which was closer to his heart. The script would be the dominating factor in this project; the artist in this project would be completely new or might be a little known, title has not yet been fixed."

Dhayanidhi and his team were very impressed with Vetri's script which was fresh and innovative. "We are trying out few things which are still fresh for our audience like, this movie would not have songs and the maximum run time of the film would be 120 minutes. As per plan, we have decided that we would be finishing the production in less than two months if everything goes well", says the press note.

This project would go to floors by the start of next year.
