Rajinikanth's Sun Pictures produced Enthiran directed by Shankar has become the largest grossing south Indian film in the overseas market.

Endhiran and its Telugu version Robot's combined gross in the overseas market is a whopping Rs 61 Crore (610 million) !

The film has collected Rs 61 Crore in the international market according to Eros International Media, which is distributing the Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie in the overseas markets through its subsidiary Ayngaran International.

The movie has grossed Rs 200 million in the United States of America, Rs 80 million in the United Kingdom (Including Europe), Rs 70 million in the Middle East, Rs 210 million in South East Asia (including Malaysia and Singapore) and Rs 50 million in other parts of the world.

A spokesperson of Eros International said: " Rajinikanth is a global phenomenon on par with Bollywood top guns. Enthiran has received a stupendous response and has seen a manifold success compared to the Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji."
