The album starts with Rajini’s Introductory song “ Puthiya Manitha”. In fact this song has not followed Rajini’s conventional introductories. It is slow and gentle and subtle. SPB has rendered his voice once again for Rajini, but I must say that fans will be slightly disappointed as the song is not a usual Rajini starter. Nevertheless, the lyrics of this song are cleverly poised between his message to the fans and the introduction to the robot.

The song which catches your immediate attention is “Kadhal Anukkal”. This is the only melody duet of the album. Sure to hit the charts bang hard. The lyrics are so cute.

“Irumbile oru Idhaiyam” is truly a dance number. AR Rahman and Krassy’s opposite voices is sure to get this song another hitter of the album. The English lyrics may had been better.

“Chitti Dance Show” is interesting and could hugely depend on the visuals.

“Arima Arima” sung by Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam is another splendid one. The rhythm which flows through the entire song makes this one hearable again and again. The lyrics are also good.

“Boom Boom Robo”. For me the only song in this album which hasn’t gone into my mind as I write this. And Yogi B. he reminds of the songs he had sung earlier. The female voices are only going to drive this song a hit or mishit.

“Kilimanjaro”- The best of the album is here. And Chinmayee’s voice is just irresistible. Equal to her is Javed Ali’s matured voice.

But as I say this, just get your headsets into your ears. Its mindblowing recording from ARR and you are going to like all the songs straightaway.

A.R.Rahman has not been the conventional musician. That’s what separates from him and the rest of the musicians today. ARR has consistently set the benchmarks, and only he breaks himself again and again. In the recent years, ARR has given many hits like Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya ( a melodical), Ravanan. But “Endhiran” is the most vibrating and rollicking music in recent times. I just memory back to “Boys” days for such a rollicking album. For rajini, if at all he acts in another film, no one could replace ARR for the music in his films. And now folks, I cant stop hearing the Endhiran songs and they are playing in a loop in my mobile.
